Green energy
S
Students from class 3a in Koszalin learned about a green energy producer in Poland and its facilities located in the area.
Science Festival
Today, our school hosted a unique Science Festival, prepared by four classes taking part in the international eTwinning project “Happy Islands – Ecological Cities of the Future.” We represent education in our school and in our city on the forum of European and Polish schools.
The students presented an impressive exhibition of models of their ecological cities, filled with modern and environmentally friendly solutions. There was also a series of experiments and demonstrations showing that ecology goes hand in hand with science and creativity.
During the event, the children conducted interviews and explained how to assemble a wind turbine, prepare home lighting, or create an LED card.
All participants also watched a multimedia presentation showcasing all the cities and their ecological ideas.
It was a day full of knowledge, inspiration, and great fun!

Estimating and Measuring
Recently, we explored the concept of estimating length in class.
First, we measured various objects using blocks, comparing how many blocks it would take to measure a given item. The children enthusiastically arranged the blocks and tested which object was longer and which was shorter.
Then, we recorded our measurements on worksheets, noting the number of blocks we used to measure each object.
Finally, we connected all the cylinders together, creating a large thread.
How big is a wind turbine blade?
How big is a wind turbine blade? Today in class we turned into real researchers!
First, we learned about the lengths and widths of blades from different wind turbines – from the small ones to the truly enormous. We wondered how big they need to be to produce energy from the wind.
Then we headed to the school hallway to check these dimensions in practice. We measured, calculated, compared, and worked together in groups. It turned out that some turbine blades are so long that… our hallway was too short to measure them completely!
It was great fun combined with learning – these hands-on activities showed us how huge the parts of wind turbines can be and how important accurate measurements are.
Learning by doing – that’s what we like best!

When you love what you do, you truly rest
Artificial intelligence helped us create a unique poster with our motto:
“When you love what you do, you truly rest.” 🌞
This phrase perfectly reflects the spirit of our project Restland – a place where learning, creativity, and relaxation come together as one. We believe that true peace comes when you do what you truly love. Thanks to AI, our idea turned into a beautiful graphic that captures the harmony and joy of creation.
