A happy, eco-friendly city

 Arcadialand

Design work on creating a happy, eco-friendly city of the future is nearing completion! With incredible dedication and imagination, the students created a model of their chosen city – Arcadialand. The end result exceeded all expectations – a model of a place everyone would love to live in!

Arcadialand is a city that students designed from scratch, guided by the idea of harmony between humans and nature, safety, joy and ecological solutions. Their vision included:

🌿A Zone of Peace and Quiet:

  • Houses surrounded by greenery and colorful flower beds
  • Alleys filled with trees and flowers
  • A small park with hammocks
  • A cozy library
  • Vehicles powered exclusively by electricity

✨ Cleanliness and aesthetics

  • Cheerful, winding paths
  • Eco-friendly basket catchers decorated with smiling creatures

🐾 Nature-friendly architecture:

  • Animal tunnels
  • Floating platforms and birdhouses
  • Houses for wild bees
  • Flowerbeds and green spaces

😄 A Smile Zone:

  • A playing field, mazes, and mini obstacle courses
  • Bowling alleys and carousels
  • Climbing walls
  • Capsule games

⚡ Green energy in practice:

  • Wind turbines
  • Green roofs filled with plants
  • Solar panels supporting energy production.
Arcadialand is a happy, ecologically friendly place, full of positive energy – created together with creativity and a huge heart.

Flowerland City Guide – Our Journey Across the Happy Islands

We worked very hard this semester, but it was also a time full of joy and creative energy. Class 3c set off on an extraordinary adventure — we built our own city, Flowerland, located on the magical Happy Islands. Each of us added a piece of imagination, talent, and heart to this project.

For many weeks, we created houses, gardens, streets, citizens, and all the little details that make a city come alive. We learned cooperation, planning, and how to care for a shared space. Most of all, we discovered how beautifully learning can blend with play.

When we gathered all our work together, something truly special emerged: a guidebook to the city of Flowerland. It is a colorful, imaginative story about a place we built together — a place where kindness, creativity, and good energy grow like flowers.

We invite you to visit Flowerland and discover what awaits on our Happy Islands. It is a city created from dreams, teamwork, and the wonderful imagination of children.

Eco-Vehicles in Arcadialand – Where Science Meets Sustainability!

Education in the STEAM approach is gaining importance in working with children. This method promotes holistic development by combining science, creativity, engineering, and mathematics into a meaningful whole. Students learn through hands-on activities, experimentation, and creative problem-solving, while developing future-ready skills: logical thinking, creativity, cognitive flexibility, and teamwork.

As part of the Happy Islands project, we focus not only on balanced development but also on international collaboration and inspiration. The challenge? Finding solutions that are both innovative and environmentally friendly.

This time, our students explored ideas for their eco-friendly city, Arcadialand, proving that ecology goes hand in hand with science and creativity. Their task was to design models of mechanically powered vehicles that are quiet and do not pollute the environment. The results were amazing – inventive designs that combine technical knowledge with artistic imagination!

Science Festival

Today, our school hosted a unique Science Festival, prepared by four classes taking part in the international eTwinning project “Happy Islands – Ecological Cities of the Future.” We represent education in our school and in our city on the forum of European and Polish schools.

The students presented an impressive exhibition of models of their ecological cities, filled with modern and environmentally friendly solutions. There was also a series of experiments and demonstrations showing that ecology goes hand in hand with science and creativity.

During the event, the children conducted interviews and explained how to assemble a wind turbine, prepare home lighting, or create an LED card.

All participants also watched a multimedia presentation showcasing all the cities and their ecological ideas.

It was a day full of knowledge, inspiration, and great fun!
