Estimating and Measuring
Recently, we explored the concept of estimating length in class.
First, we measured various objects using blocks, comparing how many blocks it would take to measure a given item. The children enthusiastically arranged the blocks and tested which object was longer and which was shorter.
Then, we recorded our measurements on worksheets, noting the number of blocks we used to measure each object.
Finally, we connected all the cylinders together, creating a large thread.

Class 1b in the World of Renewable Energy!
Today we watched an interesting film about renewable energy sources. We learned where electricity from the sun, wind, and water comes from, and how we can use these forces of nature to protect our planet.
We really enjoyed the film, and it inspired us to take further action – we are already planning our own eco-friendly projects!
